Trinity Preschool Activities for Monday, April 25, 2011

We played in the gym today. I know all this rain is going ot make pretty flowers, but we really want to play outside!

Willow Room: MWF class

We read "You're a community helper" by Karen Bryant


We talked about visiting our Doctor and asked the children how they feel about going ot the doctor?

We made X-ray pictures using Q-tips on a hand shape.

We painted at the easel using water and powder paint.

We sang "Your face will surely show it", Dancing in your seat and "5 little monkeys"

We discussed the different kinds of Dr.'s and what they do. We looked at real x-rays of the human body.

Maple Room:

We read a cute story called "The fox and the springtime blossoms" by Julia Rawlinson

We mixed red and yellow finger paint to make orange today. We used red and blue watercolors at the easel with small brushes.

We sang the April song and we practiced our Mother's Days songs.

We did letter Y activities


Oak room:

We read "Because a little bug went Ka-choo! by Rosetta Stone

We made a special picture to use in our Mother's Day program.

We practiced our special songs for Mother's Day.

We also read "Spring is here" by Will Hillenbrand.
