Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear

We played in the gym today as it was too wet outside to go out.

We made a chart of the letter "O" words we could think of.

Maple Room:

We read "The very hungry caterpillar" by Eric CArle

We painted egg cartons to make caterpillars

We had glitter water colors at the easel today.

We did the bean bag balance, beanbag dance and the alphabet song for music today.

We played in the gym today, we had so much fun playing duck, duck goose! We laughed and laughed.

We did letter V activities today and we made a graph of our caterpillar and moth data.
Our caterpillars grew to twice their size since Friday!

Oak Room:

We read "Gilbert the Grea" by Jane Clarke and Charles Fuge

We painted with rubber worms on a stick ( like dangling from a fishing pole) see picture. You can make a similar activity at home, by taping a piece of yarn to a pencil, dip it in paint and make a picture.

We sang "Bubble gum, bubble gum", "Herman the worm", and "Come and get a smiley face".

We are talking about the letter "Z" this week. It is hard to believe we have gotten through the whole alphabet!
