Trinity Preschool Activities for Thursday, May 19, 2011

We played outside today.

Willow Room:

Our story was "A fish out of water" by Helen Palmer

We painted with blue fingerpaint today, next week when they are dry we will add stickers of ocean creatures to make a sea picture.

We had markers at the easel.

We did the songs 5 green and speckled frogs, I like my hat using paper plates.

We our having picnic fun in our dramatic corner.


Oak Room:

We read Miss Spider;s Tea Party by David Kirk

We played a small group game about the 5 senses.

We did a group mural painting and we had tooth brushes at the easel with paint.

We cut our grass today on our little grass houses.
We did Down by the Bay and the Mack chicken dance for music.

We all sat in a circle, we passed a ball of yarn around the circle and when we had it we wrapped it around our foot before we passed it on. It created a big "spider web". We talked about "what would you catch in your web?"
