Trinity Preschool Activities for Monday, May 23, 2011

The rain is stopped, it was warm and windy. We had fun on the playground today.

Willow Room:

We asked the children if they had an X,Y, or Z in their name. We are finishig up the alphabet this week.

We read the story "The fish who cold wish" by John Bush

We had sea creature stampers at the art table today with colorful paint. We had magnetic gears at the easel.

We had water to play with in the room today. It was fun. We had some fish themed games at the table.

We sang :I like my hat, and Jump Jim Joe.

Maple Room:

We read "Head to Toe" by Eric Carle

We painted with brushes, anything they wanted. They created some beautiful paintings today.
The children enjoyed playing with the flubber again today.

We let the children pick out their favorite songs to sing today.

We brought in head phones and let the children listen to Chicka chicka boom boom on a CD.

Oak Room:

We read "Diary of a worm" by Doreen Cronin

We painted with different kinds of potato mashers to make cool designs on paper.

We sang Old MC Donald has a band using instruments, and Hands are for clapping.

We also read "Flag your wings" by P.D. Eastman

The children enjoyed playing with the flubber again today.
