Trinity Preschool Activities for Monday, October 6, 2014

Oak Room- Pre K class

We read "Parts" by Tedd Arnold

We did our letter E chart.

We made the cover for our "All about Me books" by rolling golf balls dipped in paint back and forth in a box with our cover papers in it.

We will be working on our All about me books this week.

We did "Today is Monday", "Play the band" using instruments, and "Ugly Germs" for music today.

Maple Room- MWF class

We read "The day the Crayons Quit" by Drew Daywalt

We used eye droppers to drip water colors onto paper towels.  The colors blended to make new colors too.  We will make leaves out of the dried projects.

We had crayons and paper at the easel.

We also read a new book called "Mix it up" by Herve Tullet ( all about primary and secondary colors)

We did "The October song", "5 pumpkins smiling at me", "down around the corner at the pumpkin patch" for music today.

Willow Room- MWF class

We read "The little rabbit who like to say Moo" by Jonathan Allen

We painted ducks using brushes with yellow and brown tempra paint.

We dipped chalk into a sugar mixture which intensifies the colors and the children drew on paper at the easel today.

We did a rhyme "Here is the bunny" and an "apple rhyme and the apple song today.

We did "Put your finger on, 5 little ducks went out to play, and "you're face will surely show it" for music today.

Stay and Play:

We read "Extra Yarn" by Mac Barnett

We used textured rollers in paint today for art.

We did Brown Bear, Brown Bear and Tommy Thumb for music time.

We also played Uno as a small group number and color game today.
