We read "Nosy Rosie" by Holly Keller and Aliki
We painted with kool-aid mixed with water and smelled the different colors.
We did "the bear hunt", "put your finger on", and "sing a song of senses" for music time.
We guessed objects in our letter C mystery bag.
Our dramatic center is set up as a vet clinic and we take care of animals.
Willow Room : Terrific 2's and 3's class
We read "Little mouse and the big red apple" by A.H. Benjamin
We glued tissue paper onto an apple shape- red, yellow and green. The children scrunched the tissue paper with their fingers- good fine motor skill.
We had dry erase markers and stencils at the easel.
We talked about germs and why it is important to wash hands. We used glitter to demonstrate how germs spread......we put glitter on one persons hand and they touched another persons hand and the glitter spread.
