We read Geraldine's Big snow by Holly Keller
We did spool painting, using thread spools dipped in white paint to make a snowy picture. We had snowman shapes with glue and white paint at the paint, at the easels.
We sang The January song, winter, song, days of the week, dear old frosty, and everybody clap your hands.
We did letter M activities and we had ice with watercolors and eye droppers at the sensroy table.

We read Sadie and the snowman by Allen Morgan
We cut snowman shapes and decorated them
We had watercolors at the easel.
We sang The January song, Dear old frosty, The little snowman and This is the way we do it.
We practiced writing the letters A-M
We had "ice bergs" floating in the water table.
