Willow Room- Terrific 2's and 3's class
We read "Are you my Mother?" by P.D. Eastman
We asked the children to tell us something about their Mother.
We fingerpainted at the easel. We are making something special for our moms. We painted fancy doilies at the table using water colors.
We practiced our songs for Mother's Day at music time.
We did a raindrop umbrella rhyme.
We had fun with our sensory table, we had dirt, with pretend worms, and water with plastic fish to catch.
We set up a picnic center in our dramatic corner.
Oak Room- Pre-k class:
We read "Ten tiny tadpoles" By Debbie Tarbett and "One fish, two fish" by Dr.Seuss
We painted with these fun flip flop design painters.
These are sturdy and fun to use as a painting tool. They are from Lakeshore Learning store. The children put their hands through the flip flop and press the design on paper. |
Each one has a different pattern on the bottom. |
We did "There was an old lady who swallowed a sea", and "5 green and speckled frogs" (a counting activity) for music today.
We read another Mo Willems book- "Listen to my trumpet".
