Willow Room:
We are having fun with our grocery store in our dramatic corner. We pretend to buy groceries, and be grocers. We learn about healthy food choices too.
We are also learning about colors now, and we are learning about the color blue.
We read "I love you, blue Kangaroo" by Emma Chichester Clarke
WE glued blue objects on blue paper, using blue glue.
We painted using blue powder paint that we mixed dish soap into to make it shiny.
We did "Tap you toe and follow me, Over the deep blue sea, and Hello everybody for music today.
We did a color guessing game, we hid a small snowflake shape behind different color snowmen and the children took turns guessing which color snowman the snowflake was behind.
Oak Room: Pre- K class
We read "The three bears" by Byron Barton and we read "All about Hibernation" by Tori Kasara
We rolled tennis balls in paint and then rolled them back and forth in a box over a bear shape.
We did "one little bear went out to play", "Herman the Worm" and "Sticky Bubble Gum" for music today.
