Willow Room- Terrific 2's and 3's class

We told the story " Can you find my breakfast?"
We asked the children "What is your favorite farm animal?"

We made animal paw prints for art and we had animal stencils with markers at the easel.

We sang "The good day song", "When I was a little fish" and "animals on the farm" for music time.

We picked corn kernels off feed corn in our sensory table- great for fine motor skills.

We had our muddy pigs again today- cornstarch and water with a little brown paint mixed in.  The we add plastic pigs to play with in the "Mud".

We added a vet clinic to our dramatic play area so we can take care of the farm animals. Each child has their own "DR" hat

Maple Room- Thursday class

We read "Green Eggs and Ham" by Dr. Suess

We played a color and shape BINGO game.

We talked about the rhyming words in the story we read today.

Oak Room- Pre- K class

We had a shapes sorting board, magnetic faces to create,  We also had out a spatial relations game.  You follow the pictures to match what you make, (a tree behind a car, a dog in front of a house).

We did The opposites song, and opposites cards, each child said an opposite, they understand opposites well.

We also did 5 little leaves rhyme and 2 little blackbirds for musci time.
