Trinity Preschool Activities for Tuesday, October 2, 2012

We played on the playground today.

Willow Room- Terrific 2's and 3's class

We told the story about "the little red house with no doors or windows and a star inside"  The "house is apple!"  We used flet pieces to tell the story.

We asked the children "Have you ever seen a house with no doors and no windows and a star inside?"

We used tempra paint and real apples to make prints to reveal the start inside the apple.

We had magnetic face pieces to make people at the easel.


We talked about our new month (October)
We did Mr Appleworm a felt board rhyme

We have hay and play farm animals in our sensory table.  Our dramatic corner is now a FARM!  

Oak Room: Pre- K class

We read "Ten apples up on top" by Theo Lesieg

The children drew a picture of themselves on the the bottom of a piece of paper and then they used a stamper to add 10 apples up on top! 

We did "Where is the worm hidden?, "Tasty apples", "The worm and 5 apples"

We are talking about the letter D.  We had the mystery box with the objects that start with the letter D in it.  The children have to guess what they are.
