Yea! We were able to play outside today- it was beautiful outside! We have to enjoy it while we can.
Willow Room- Terrific 2's and 3's class
We read "Cock-a-doodle-doo! Barnyard Hullabaloo" by Giles Andreae
We asked the children "Have you ever been to an animal farm?
We painted with animal stampers today.
We had ice cubes paints at the easel on farmer overall shape paper.
We did animal action song, bingo, come and join in the game for music time.
We have animals in our sensory table in hay.
and Old Mc Donald had a farm.
Our dramatic play area is set up like a farm.
Maple Room- Thursday enrichment class
We read "Ten red apples" by Pat Hutchins
We did a color activities, number activities, and played a listening lotto game.
We did "This is the way, Bear Hunt, and Hokey Pokey for music time.
Oak Room- Pre- K class
We read "Rain" by Manya Stojic (a story about using all 5 senses)
We painted a picture and then sprayed water on it ( like rain)
We played a small group game- a color and shape BINGO game; we also played a listening BINGO game about outside sounds.

We did "The five senses song", we sorted pictures by senses (each child took a turn) and we did Rock and Roll freeze dance for music time.
