Maple Room: Morning class

We read "the very hungry caterpillar" by Eric Carle

We made a symmetrical painting, with folded paper to make butterfly wings.  The children dripped paint on one half only of a piece of paper using paint and eye droppers, then we folded the paper over and pressed it together.  When we opened it up, we saw a symmetrical picture.
Symmetrical painting made by dripping paint on one side of paper only.  We will make them into butterfly wings.
