Activities for Thursday, March 18

Willow Room-TH class

We did the Hickory Dickory Dock Nursery Rhyme today. Our question today was "Have you ever seen a mouse on your clock?"

We painted with "Mice" and number stampers to make prints on a clock shape.

We had out some of our new toys in the room- our color counting keys, some airplane counters, a number train, some number sequence snap blocks, we did patterning using fruit counters, and some puzzles.

We sang "If you are happy and you know it", Hickory, Dickory, Dock, and "couch potato pokey."

We went out to the playground today!

We looked around the room for some hidden stars, How many can we find?

Maple Room- Thursday class

We read "Green Eggs and Ham" by Dr. Seuss

We painted with some new glove type hand painting mitts.

We sang "Kid picks"

We played a new lotto rhyming game- rhyming is a great activity to help later reading skills.

We played outside today!


Oak room:

We read "Let's go Froggy!" by Jonathan London

We did a group painting project to create a background mural for our "Under the sea" bulletin board. We did shades of blue and green.

We had some of our new toys in the room-geo boards where you make designs using rubber bands. An alphabet sequencing puzzle, and some shape sorting.

We sang "shout" a dancing song using Maracas and we did "This old man" with motions.
We made a pattern page for our math book. We went to the playground today.
