Terrific 2's and 3's class
We read "Never mail an elephant" by Mike Thaler
We are talking about the color pink and we asked the children "Are you wearing any pink today?"
We had dry erase markers at the easel and at the art table we had letter stampers with pink paint and an envelope shape. We talked about how you get pink by mixing red and white.
We did "Please pass the peas" , and Skinnamarink" for music today.
We had a special visitor today, "the recycle lady". She presents a fun message about recycle, reduce and reuse and includes the children in the presentation. We really enjoy having her come to our school.
Oak Room: Pre- K class
We read "When the library lights go out" by Megan McDonald and Katherine Tillotson and we read "It's library day" by Janet Morgan Stoeke
We had a visit form the recycle lady too, she talked about reduce, reuse and recycle and how we need to make less garbage.
We cut our star shapes and painted them with silver glitter paint for art today.
We did "Bean bag boogie", "animal action", and "late last night", for music time.
We did the mystery bag with items that begin with the letter S today.
