Oak Room - Egg Science Experiment

The Oak room class will be doing science experiences each week. The children are very excited about this.














Their first one involved Eggs, Cola, Water, Tooth Brushes and Tooth Paste

First they predicted what would happen when they put a hard boiled egg in cola, and water. They left one egg out of everything.

Here are some predictions:

In Cola:

• It will turn purple
• It will turn brown
• It will crack and a bird will come out"

In Water:

• It will get bigger"
• "It will turn to ice"
• "It will stay the same."

Outcome:

• Egg in the water stayed the same.
• Egg in the Cola turned brown
• We brushed the brown egg with toothpaste with and most of the brown came off.
