Willow room- mwf class

Our question was "Do you have the letter "M" in your name?

Our story was Mary had a little lamb.

We made a chart of "M" words too.

We had out a number peg game- numbers 1-5, we had a weather magnet board and a fruit sequencing board with patterning out too.

We sang dance with s stick, and I like my hat (we wore paper hats)

We had our new gym floor hockey game out in the gym.

We had out our new green playdough and at the free art table we had collage materials.

The Maple room:

We read The three little pigs by Charlotte Voake and Pastor Dan read the story to our class.

We did sponge painting to make our house of bricks. We had water colors at the easel.

We sang our March song, a shamrock rhyme, we did the bear hunt with instruments.

We practiced writing the letter "O" on our writing boards.

Oak Room:

What next, Baby Bear! by Jill Murphy

We painted and decorated paper plates to make flying saucers.

We had out some word building puzzles

We did a blast off song using maracas to blast off around the room. We did the rock and roll freeze dance.

We hung up our paper mache' planets around our balloon sun over our group time rug. They look great.
