Trinity Preschool Activities for Wednesday, September 11, 2013

Oak Room- pre k 5 day class

"We read another one of the Laura Numeroff Books in the series we call "If you...." This one was "If you give a pig a party"  We also read a letter "A" book.

We started our journal notebooks today.  Each child has their own notebook and as we learn a new letter, we write the letter in the book, and either draw a picture of something that starts with that latter, or trace a stencil of something that starts  with the letter.

We decorated party hats at the free art table ( like the story about the Pig and the Party)

We sang "Tap your toe and follow me" and "Deep in the Jungle" (we used drums along with the song)

Maple Room- MWF class

We read "Quick as a cricket" by Audrey Wood

We did self portraits using crayons and markers.  The children looked in the mirrors to see what they look like to draw the picture.

We ad tempra paint and textured brushes at the easel.

We played a color memory game.

We did the September song, "Head, Shoulders", Knees and Toes", "Brown Bear", and "Everybody has a face" for music time today.
