We read "Sneeze Big Bear Sneeze" by Maureen Wright
We painted with dish scrubbers to make cool designs on paper.
We had chalk boards, colored chalk, and stencils at the easel.
We did "If you're happy and you know it", "2 little blackbirds" and "Turkey hop" for music today.
We did an activity called "Leaves on the move" everyone gets a leaf and follows the directions to do a variety of moves.
Oak Room- Pre- K class
We read "The Grouchy Lady Bug" by Eric Carle
In the story it recounts what the lady bug is doing at each hour, so we made a clock to go with the story.
The children cut out a circle shape and we had written numbers in pencil on the face of the clock, so the children matched the correct number stamper to the pencil number to add numbers to the face of the clock. We added a lady bug with a stamper too.
We listened to "Polar Bear, Polar Bear, what do you hear?" a book on CD by Eric Carle
We played a number matching game- with lady bugs, find the partner with the matching number.
We brought in a large parking garage with cars for the children to use and we have corn kernels in the sensory table.
