We played outside, it was a glorious day today!
Willow Room:
We read "Five little monkeys jumping on the bed" by Eileen Christelow
We asked the children what letter their name begins with? (as they looked at their name tags)
We did the nursery rhyme "Hey Diddle Diddle" and for art we made a dish run away with the spoon. We used tempra paint glue and flour and used the spoon as a brush.
We did the nursery rhyme Hey Diddle Diddle, and "over the deep blue sea" for music.
We are really having fun in the animal hospital, the children take such good care of the animals and we made cute DR. hats.
Oak Room:
"Watch me throw the ball" by Mo Willens
We painted with golf balls dipped in paint. We rolled them in a big box with a partner.
We had magnetic mazes, magnetic letters, and bristle blocks out today.
We did "Here's a little bird"(a rhyme that follows the music scale), Little Bunny Foo Foo" and a limbo dance "Underneath the broomstick"
We did sounds of balls- we listened to the sounds different balls made when bounced. Then we closed our eyes and guessed which ball we were hearing.
Maple Room:
We read "Cloudy with a chance of meatballs" by Judi Barrett
We did finger painting with chocolate pudding. (We also ate pudding for snack)
We did Jump Jim Joe, March Song, Bear Hunt, and Freeze Dance for music today.
